OUR DOCTORS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
Dr. Alex Shuchuk, PT, DPT
Dr. Alex is a Sports Physical Therapist and the founder of Regain Your Game. Alex graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Kinesiology: Exercise and Movement Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Alex was also a student-athlete at UW-Madison having been a member of the Men's Ice Hockey team. He has an extensive background working with athletes in a variety of different roles, including as a strength coach, hockey coach, and as a physical therapist. He's returned athletes of all ages back to their respective sports, including high-level collegiate and professional athletes. His special interests include hockey biomechanics, ACL reconstruction rehabilitation, and arm pain in the thrower.
Dr. Colten Haack, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS
Dr. Colten is a physical therapist specializing in sports medicine. Colten was a student athlete at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse having been a member of the basketball team. He graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science prior to completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Wisconsin. Colten then pursued a sports residency at the University of Florida where he worked with Gator athletes while also becoming a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist. In addition, Colten has his USA volleyball certification and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Colten sees patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. He specializes in helping athletes recover from all injuries. Using targeted therapies, he cares for patients through every phase of their rehabilitation.
Colten enjoys being part of a community that helps athletes navigate the ups and downs of their recovery. Dedicated to providing whole-person care, he strives to improve both the mental and physical health of his patients. He partners with people to help them get back to their favorite activities, whether they’re a professional competitor or a recreational athlete.
Outside of work, Colten enjoys playing golf, pickleball and volleyball, and supporting his favorite Wisconsin teams — the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks.
